Job Description:

The Senior Manager, PLM Transformation will lead enterprise-wide initiatives to modernize and optimize end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities, processes, and platforms. This role requires deep functional expertise across the product lifecycle from ideation and requirements through design, change, release, manufacturing handoff, and service combined with hands-on experience delivering PTC Windchill implementations and transformations. The role will partner with Engineering, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, and IT to define the PLM roadmap, implement scalable solutions, and drive adoption and measurable outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives to modernize and optimize end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities, processes, and platforms
  • Partner with Engineering, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, and IT to define the PLM roadmap, implement scalable solutions, and drive adoption and measurable outcomes

Requirements:

  • Deep, hands-on functional expertise across end-to-end PLM processes, including product structure management, document/CAD control, engineering change, configuration/variants, release management, and manufacturing handoff
  • Strong knowledge of BOM disciplines (EBOM/MBOM/SBOM where relevant), revision control, effectivity (date/unit/serial), and product configuration logic
  • Experience driving process standardization, governance, and cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing
  • Solution design experience across the product lifecycle
  • Standardize and harmonize PLM processes across business units/sites while enabling necessary local variation through controlled configuration
  • Demonstrated experience leading or owning functional workstreams for PTC Windchill implementations (new deployment, upgrade, consolidation, or re-architecture)
  • Strong understanding of Windchill functional configuration concepts: lifecycles, workflows, roles/ACLs, object types, attributes, classification, baselines, and change objects
  • Ability to facilitate Windchill fit-gap workshops and translate needs into implementable configurations
  • Lead end-to-end PTC Windchill implementation programs: discovery, fit-to-standard workshops, requirements, configuration/design, build oversight, test/UAT, cutover, and hyper care
  • Experience with Windchill integrations to ERP (SAP/Oracle), CAD tools, MES/QMS, and enterprise integration platforms (APIs, middleware)
  • Proven ability to lead PLM data migration, data governance, and data quality initiatives at scale
  • Strong program/product leadership skills: agile/hybrid delivery, backlog prioritization, release planning, risk/issue management, and value realization
  • Excellent executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management
  • ability to influence across engineering and operations communities
  • Experience leading global teams and SI partners
  • Lead, coach, and develop PLM analysts/product owners and coordinate work across admins/configuration teams, developers, and SI partners
  • Manage system integrators and vendors for delivery quality, velocity, and adherence to enterprise standards
  • 10+ years in PLM/PDM, engineering systems, or product data transformation roles with significant end-to-end PLM scope
  • 5+ years in roles involving PTC Windchill implementation/transformation (functional lead, product owner, program lead, or equivalent)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Systems, or related field required
