Senior Manager, Pharmaceutical Contracting

• Evaluate pharmaceutical manufacturer bid proposals and model current and projected rates to recommend strategic formulary approaches
• Negotiate and manage contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers, ensuring compliance, tracking performance metrics, and resolving disputes
• Collaborate with Finance to analyze market trends, pricing structures, and financial data to optimize contract terms and deliver cost savings
• Provide strategic direction to account management and manufacturer negotiations to control drug and medical supply costs
• Partner with internal teams—including Trade Strategy and Operations, Legal, and Finance —to align contracting strategies with organizational goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and suppliers to foster innovation and partnership
• Deliver ongoing recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives

• 7+ years of relevant experience in PBM, healthcare delivery, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or contracting
• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in manipulating datasets using Microsoft Excel
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
• Demonstrated success in planning, execution, and delivery of complex initiatives
• Business intelligence acumen with a strategic mindset
• Ability to travel 10 - 20% as needed
• Bachelor's degree required/specialized training/relevant professional qualification
