Job Description:

The purpose of this role will be to ensure that all returnable packaging goods within the ASML Wilton network are planned, designed, purchased and available at the right time and in the right place to support factory and service requirements, in a compliant, timely and cost effective manner. Ultimately meeting our Stakeholders and suppliers needs and agreed upon SLA's. Establishing and managing day to day week to performance for the end to end supply chain or packaging. You will manage and oversee the pool of returnable packaging for Wilton Factory, through a team of 3. This will include capital and approval processes, demand and supply planning, warehousing, storage, cleaning and repair activities undertaken by 3PL (third party logistics) service providers, managing the cost control of the operating budget and service levels to requirement. Pool management extends globally from suppliers, through manufacturing to customer locations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Management and oversight of ASML’s Capital and Opex spending associated with returnable packaging. Reviewing and approving investment proposals for returnable packaging and reconciling to the annual planning process
  • Accountable for local 3PL relationships, supporting in negotiations for service contracts in close collaboration with global headquarters in Netherlands including master service level agreement, including service and cost metrics
  • Leading cross functional stakeholder and supplier communications, to drive availability and visibility of pool size, measure performance, and reduce cost. Proactively sharing demand and supply plans
  • Establish daily / weekly process which seamlessly support business workflow
  • Manage escalation process ensuring business continuity relating to availability of returnable packaging materials
  • Plan and manage the Capex and Opex budgets for the short (1 year) and medium (3 year) time horizons
  • Manage the packaging team of 3 people to ASML performance standards

Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience in managing global supply chain network, overseeing logistics and supply chain operations including managing 3PLs
  • Experience in internal and external warehouse and transportation management working with logistics providers
  • Experience creating Capex investment proposals to present and secure buy in from senior global leadership
  • Experience managing a global returnable packaging program, including operational and strategic leadership
  • Experience in cost control, budgeting and reporting
  • Experience using SAP for inventory management and warehousing processes
  • Experience with complex supply chains with strong engineering focus
  • Experience with Project Management & Process Standardization
  • Experience working in matrix organization with regional and global responsibilities
  • Background within the Semiconductor industry is preferred
  • University background: Master degree with deep/extensive experience
  • Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short to medium timescales within the overall policy framework
  • Entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in an environment where you own process development, adoption and control
  • Supplier management experience on both a production and service environment
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the ASML organization and ecosystem
