Job Description

7-Eleven is looking for a strategic and results-oriented Senior Manager of Pricing to drive enterprise-level pricing initiatives using advanced analytics tools. This role is critical in shaping and leading pricing strategies that maximize profitability, enhance competitive positioning, and deliver customer value across our vast retail network. You will oversee the development and execution of data-driven pricing models, lead cross-functional pricing projects, and mentor a team of analysts, while partnering closely with senior leadership to achieve business goals.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of strategic pricing initiatives leveraging our full suite of pricing, promotion, and performance management solutions
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for pricing analytics tools and methodologies across the organization
  • Translate complex analytical outputs into actionable strategies and communicate insights effectively to executive leadership
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to align pricing strategies with broader business objectives
  • Manage and mentor a team of Pricing Analysts and Managers, providing guidance on best practices in pricing optimization and data interpretation
  • Conduct in-depth competitive and market analysis using external data sources and competitive benchmarking
  • Monitor, track, and continuously improve the performance of pricing strategies, ensuring optimal balance between volume growth, margin expansion, and customer value perception
  • Closely partner with IT and external vendors to ensure alignment and consistency across deliverables upstream & downstream, to enhance pricing systems and ensure data integrity
  • Develop business cases to support strategic initiatives, including promotions, new product pricing, and price architecture changes
  • Foster communication, collaboration, and partnership with cross-functional business analytics teams to align on and develop holistic solutions upstream that drive consistency downstream

Requirements

  • Bachelors / 4 Year Degree
  • 6+ Years of Relevant Work Experience
  • 2+ Years of Management Experience
  • Proven experience with enterprise level pricing optimization solutions
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing direct reports and leading cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • proficiency in advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Strong business acumen and ability to link pricing strategies to broader company goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Retail, consumer goods, or convenience industry experience strongly preferred
