Job Description:

The Epic Implementation Project Manager assists the Lead Director with informatics initiatives with a focus on strategic execution, stakeholder alignment, and delivery excellence. This role is responsible for translating organizational goals into actionable project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of Epic.

Job Responsibility:

Strategic Project Management: Translate strategic goals into actionable project plans
Set and manage milestones
Maintain project timelines using tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Visio)
Risk & Issue Management: Develop and maintain risk logs
Create escalation pathways
Support development and maintain tracking tools in MS Excel for financial assessment and forecasting
Cross-Functional Coordination: Ensure alignment across clinical, technical, and operational workgroups
Lead effective cross-functional meetings
Communication, Relationship Development & Reporting: Deliver executive-level reporting
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Change Management & Adoption: Support readiness efforts
Implement feedback mechanisms

Requirements:

Minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required
Two or more Epic Certifications: EpicCare Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, Beacon, Willow, Prelude, Cadence, Resolute Professional Billing, HIM (Health Information Management), MyChart, Beaker, Welcome Kiosk, Rover, Haiku, EpicCare Link, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, Bridges, Reporting Workbench, Orders
Deep expertise in IT project management
Risk mitigation and change adoption
Proven ability to deliver complex healthcare technology projects on time and within scope
