Job Description

The Senior Manager of Cloud Engineering will lead a team responsible for developing scalable, distributed cloud services using containerized microservices in a multi-cloud environment. You will drive the design, development, and delivery of cloud solutions, ensuring high-quality automation, observability, and operational excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage a cloud engineering team developing distributed microservices for a multi-tenant, scalable platform
  • Oversee cloud service development with a focus on performance, security, and reliability
  • Set up coding guidelines, participate in code and design reviews, and ensure high-quality automation and testing
  • Collaborate with Product Management to align development with business goals
  • Manage the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment and operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Master’s degree is a plus
  • 10+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years in managing cloud engineers
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and cloud infrastructure (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in network security, TCP/IP, REST APIs, and Unix/Linux environments
  • Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and collaborate across teams
