The Senior Manager of Building Maintenance reports to the Director – Base Experience and is responsible for the effective operation, maintenance, and stewardship of Resort buildings, the Sign Shop, Operations Warehouse/Parts, and the Operations Distribution Center. This role focuses on safety, asset protection, infrastructure reliability, and guest experience, while supporting leased and owned properties, capital planning, and key infrastructure systems.Success in this role requires strong business acumen, strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and proven leadership skills.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee all building, infrastructure, and asset maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operations
Partner with the Leasing team to coordinate repairs/maintenance on leased properties and track/recommend capital replacements and improvements
Liaise with strata councils to ensure Whistler Blackcomb’s interests are represented for owned and leased properties
Represent Whistler Blackcomb as the Lot 5 owner responsible for Whistler Creek flood protection works
Oversee potable water, sewer, gas, and related infrastructure systems, ensuring compliance, reliability, and risk mitigation
Manage the Operations Distribution Center supporting inventory and materials for Operations maintenance teams
Participate on the working group implementing MaintainX for Building Maintenance and support system adoption and process improvements
Manage capital projects and programs, including re-imagine initiatives and facility upgrades
