Job Responsibility:

  • Continuous advice on the enhancement of products for existing cooperation partners from the various business units
  • Support with the on-boarding of new cooperation partners and products
  • Assessing of Third Party Risk Assessment (TPRA) and Modification of Operational Processes and Structure (MOPS)
  • Preparation and implementation of training courses
  • Monitoring the performance of cooperation partners with regard to AFC compliance issues and communication with the respective partner managers
  • Extension of the documentation of processes
  • Instruction and professional support for employees and cooperation partners
  • Coordination of BaFin requests and Internal and/or External Auditors
  • Preparation of Annual AFC Report, German ExCo report governance
  • AFC Governance lead and Quality Assurance

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in anti-financial crime compliance within the financial services industry, with a focus on advisory and strategy development
  • In-depth knowledge of German and EU regulations pertaining to anti-money laundering, sanctions, and fraud prevention
  • Detailed expertise in fraud, sanctions and embargo related topics (5 years of experience)
  • Proven track record of leading successful AFC initiatives, including risk assessments, policy development, and implementation of controls
  • Ability to work well under pressure, different priorities, and tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English and German is required

Nice to have:

  • Experiences with local regulators is a plus
  • Professional certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or ACAMS (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists) preferred
