Job Description

The Senior Manager, Media Planning and Analytics, APEC, will lead the development of integrated media strategies for Marriott International across key business pillars, both regionally and locally. They will serve as a primary point of contact for our media agency, focusing on strengthening agency partnerships, optimizing output, and overseeing media investment tracking. This position will be accountable for reviewing past and future media campaigns to surface patterns and insights that articulate how media investments drive business outcomes. Partnering closely with Marriott’s Revenue and Digital teams, they will ensure consistent alignment between business objectives and platform performance metrics, while shaping best practices to inform media investment decisions. This role requires strong stakeholder management experience to enable seamless collaboration across multiple teams. Regular engagement with senior leadership is needed, including presenting performance insights and strategic recommendations that directly support business priorities. Reporting to the Senior Director, Media, APEC, this position will support the APEC Commercial Services teams across Brand Marketing, Loyalty, Area Marketing, Restaurant and Bars, Distribution, Partnerships and B2B, to deliver on evolving business goals. They will also coordinate with our Global Media Team and JBP partner leads to share and implement learnings, initiatives and frameworks.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Marriott’s Commercial Services teams to create and lead integrated media strategies
  • Develop and refine measurement frameworks and media planning cadence to evolve and strengthen media performance
  • Drive new initiatives, including media innovation, competitor insights and industry and vendor updates
  • Partner closely with the Marriott’s global teams to share insights, ideas, and best practices across the network
  • Lead the analysis of media campaigns to identify trends, insights, and opportunities that demonstrate media and business performance
  • Develop and evolve media measurement frameworks, KPIs, and reporting standards to ensure consistent evaluation across markets
  • Translate complex media data into clear, concise insights and recommendations that support media optimization and investment decisions
  • Collaborate with regional and local market teams to support campaign planning, performance reviews, and post‑campaign analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement through media innovation, competitor analysis, and industry and vendor insights

Requirements

  • 8–12 years of Asia Pacific media planning and analytics experience, developed through roles in established in‑house media teams, or client‑facing agency positions managing large international accounts
