Job Description:

As a Senior Manager of Marketing Science, you will lead a team that analyzes large complex datasets to develop marketing applications and optimize products. The team will develop algorithms to target specific business objectives and create business opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leads a team that analyzes large, complex datasets and identifies meaningful patterns that lead to actionable recommendations
  • Collaborates with cross departmental teams to define metrics, guidelines, requirements, and strategies for effective use of algorithms and data
  • Synthesizes data from multiple sources to enable campaign optimization
  • Assesses long-term strategic goals for business intelligence development
  • Recommends and improves program analysis procedures in SQL, Python or other languages required for specific detailed function
  • Conducts data studies and data discovery of new data sources or new uses for existing data sources
  • Research software and hardware related to handling and accessing data appropriately
  • Designs and implements statistical data quality procedures
  • Interprets and presents data findings creatively in a variety of formats and with business relevance
  • Manages a team for all performance related conversations, conducts hiring processes including interviewing and approving hires, counsels, and mentor’s direct reports

Requirements:

  • BA/BS required in Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience programming in R or Python for the purposes of developing advanced analytical solutions, visualizations, reports, and presentations
  • 7+ years of professional experience utilizing SQL to work in enterprise database solutions
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Marketing Science related solutions including, but not limited to: Response Modeling, Uplift Modeling, Audience List Creation and Deployment, Identity Resolution, Audience Segmentation, MMM, MTA, A/B Testing, Design of Experiments, Statistical Hypothesis Testing, Attribution, Econometric Modeling, or other applied marketing science solutions
  • 3+ years managing a team of data scientists
  • Must be able to learn and apply substantial amounts of technical and procedural information, and to follow published standards and processes
  • Must be knowledgeable of infrastructure tools and management techniques and able to follow standards and processes
  • Must be able to provide systems training to team members as needed
