Job Description:

This role is responsible for executing brand marketing programs and initiatives for all luxury brands in the APEC region. This role supports continent brand teams to align consumer-facing messaging and enhance brand reputation. It involves partnering with regional marketing teams to localize brand expressions through PR, advertising, and communications. This role collaborates with the loyalty marketing team to promote Marriott Bonvoy and manages programs to grow key source markets. Additionally, this role oversees projects with Performance and Digital teams to deliver effective media plans and works with area marketing teams to drive brand awareness, market share, and topline performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Collaborate with and assist Area Directors of Marketing and key HALO hotels in creating business plans
  • Clearly understand the brand strategy, positioning, voice, strategic pillars, and competitive environment
  • Support strategic brand partnerships to achieve desired outcomes
  • Implement global brand marketing strategies while aligning with APEC or country-specific objectives
  • Ensure effective pull-through and localization of new brand marketing or partnership initiatives in the APEC region
  • Develop compelling presentations to keep the owner community and key stakeholders informed about brand marketing updates
  • Constantly monitor brand performance and coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve brand and continent objectives
  • Partner with Brand Management Leaders for regular brand marketing communication with the field and hotels
  • Provide support for new hotel openings and conversions, ensuring all marketing efforts are executed on brand
  • Execute effective brand marketing programs to achieve or surpass brand and continent performance goals
  • Manage customer-facing brand communications, ensuring an on-brand communication style
  • Partner with the APEC PR/Communications team and area/field marketing teams to develop and execute brand buzz in APEC
  • Ensure brand partnership activities enhance brand equity and the guest experience
  • Manage and support the continent destination marketing strategy, focusing on key source markets and KPIs
  • Develop and execute promotions/offers that drive KPIs for the continent or market, in partnership with the analytics team for proper tracking and communication

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in a related function

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry or a related field
  • Prior experience working in or with an advertising agency or media company
