Lead and manage Airport BU IT Outsourcing (ITO) service practice, ensuring the design, delivery, and growth of IT Outsourcing globally. Be the practice owner, accountable for the go-to-market, commercial performance (sales, revenue, margin) and strategic development of the IT Outsourcing (ITO) business. Work collaboratively with GEO, Product, Delivery and Operations teams, and vendors to sell and deliver large (>$10m) outsourcing contracts that meet customer needs and Airport BU growth objectives.
Job Responsibility:
Practice Leadership & Strategy: Define, develop, and manage the ITO service practice, including ITO portfolio focus areas/priorities, go-to-market, and growth strategy, based on existing ITO contracts and services. Own ITO commercial performance (sales, revenue, margin) and operational governance.
GEO Engagement & Support: Act as the main point of contact for GEO teams for ITO including best practice and knowledge sharing. Provide GEOs with guidance and support to build capabilities to manage customer engagements, build and prioritise the sales pipeline, contract, deliver and manage ITOs to drive growth in ITO sales and revenues.
Pre-Sales & Proposal Support: Build key sales and marketing collaterals to promote SITA ITO capabilities and experience to the market and potential airport customers. Provide strategic input and technical guidance to sales/bid teams during proposals, RFPs, and customer engagements to enhance win rate for ITO. Ensure SITA ITO offering and capabilities are well represented in bid documentation and customer discussions.
Solution Oversight & Design: Oversee the design and development of outsourcing offering, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, operational feasibility, and SITA capabilities and standards. Ensure solutions can be efficiently implemented, managed and fully operationally supported.
Continuous Improvement & Performance: Monitor performance of contracted ITOs, including service improvement initiatives, and optimization of operational and commercial outcomes. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure best practice and lessons-learned are deployed into existing contracts and future ITOs.
Other: manage vendor & partner selection and contracting where applicable.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or equivalent
10+ years’ experience in IT Outsourcing at Airports, ideally in a global organization or service provider environment
Proven track record managing large (>$10m) IT Outsourcing programs, including solution design, sales, contracting, delivery and operations
Strong expertise in IT operations, service management frameworks, and outsourcing governance
Solid understanding of commercial models, budgeting, and operational finance
Business & Commercial Acumen: experience and capability to manage and drive ITO commercial performance (sales, revenue, margin)
Service & Solution Design: experience and capability to define and implement complex IT outsourcing solutions aligned with business and operational needs
Collaboration & Influence: able to work effectively in a matric organization across BUs, GEOs/Sales, Delivery and Operations to align priorities and drive results.
