Shape ISP Networks Design Team’s strategy to enable the achievement of the ISP tribe goals
Leadership of ISP Networks Design Team
developing skills and capabilities through inspiring communication, goal setting, mentoring, coaching, knowledge sharing and performance management to support business and personal objectives to create a high performance culture
Develop close and effective relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers and colleagues at a senior level, and be able to confidently present information, facilitate negotiations, and provide thought leadership to them
Drive transformation of the technology platform and operating model through the adoption of agile methodologies and automated capabilities
Forecast supply and demand of resource requirements based on known and unknown business needs
Drive development of complex network capabilities to create innovative broadband products
Accountable for security and compliance of platforms and services within ISP Networks
Requirements:
People management and leadership
Proven ability to motivate, inspire and lead teams in a complex environment and through periods of change
Expertise in design of IP and Broadband networks
Understanding of drivers and measurement of customer experience
experience in driving improvement in customer experience
Experience in managing agile product development
Commercial savviness
budgeting, demand management, vendor management and negotiation
Proven ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders inside and outside the team at all levels of the organisation, including those with different priorities from your own
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence others at all levels and functions within the business to agree solutions which maximise value for BT Group
Ability to lead remote teams and collaborate with remote stakeholders in a highly effective manner
Mandatory: experience of leading highly skilled engineering or software development teams
Mandatory: experience of managing or overseeing the in-life operation of critical large-scale customer-facing networks
Mandatory: experience of managing strategic vendor relationships and associated budgets
