Job Description

This role will be responsible for leading Incentive Compensation (IC) strategic design and delivery activities for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) to enable the Business to drive higher Customer Facing Colleague performance and customer engagement ROI. The Sr. Manager Incentive Compensation Lead role will collaborate strategically with Business Leaders in ANZ, other Commercial Operations functions, and the respective CMO Business Partner to design and operationalize strategic Incentive Compensation programs and key Incentive Compensation improvement initiatives for ANZ markets. This includes influencing, modeling, defining, and managing the implementation of Incentive Compensation bonus plans, Quota Setting, and other performance recognition programs for ANZ. The role will leverage a consultative partnership collaboration model, apply technical rewards and recognition program design expertise, and engage key Business stakeholders and decision makers through the CMO Business Partners to lead and enable the design and execution of Incentive Compensation service improvements in ANZ. The role will work in a matrixed organization to reconcile policy requirements and maximize the strategic value of Incentive Compensation design solutions across Global Compensation, Employment Law, Compliance, People Experience, Finance, and Digital. The Sr. Manager Incentive Compensation Lead role will support the International Markets IC & CFCD CoE to advance the strategic value proposition of the CoE as required.

Job Responsibility

  • Accountable for developing and delivering the Incentive Compensation remit within assigned ANZ
  • Responsible for IC bonus plan design
  • Quota setting methodology design
  • Analyze IC program health and identify improvement opportunities
  • Award and recognition programs design at the local and global level
  • Collaboration and partnership with the Global Operations Service Center (GOSC) to deliver timely and accurate IC services and program administration
  • IC related compliance policy management and application (GMIS policy)
  • IC data analysis and insights generation to drive strategic IC model evolution discussions with business stakeholders
  • Lead other International Markets strategic projects as assigned
  • Develop deep expertise in the products, markets, and business priorities of supported markets
  • Stay current on the latest Incentive Compensation industry trends
  • Leverage forward thinking and industry knowledge to anticipate strategic business needs and requirements
  • Work proactively with Business Leaders to identify solutions and design simple, motivating, fiscally responsible, and compliant IC plans
  • Enables the International Markets IC & CFCD CoE to implement service improvements and innovation to Incentive Compensation

  • Lead the delivery of Incentive Compensation services in ANZ
  • Proactively identify potential Incentive Compensation compliance risks in ANZ and partner with Audit Readiness & Quality Oversight to manage and facilitate corporate audits
  • Effectively navigate through ambiguity and a matrixed organization to lead and complete strategic projects
  • Exercise independent judgement to improve Incentive Compensation service delivery in ANZ
  • Streamline and scale systems and platforms in ANZ
  • Identify innovation and operational support opportunities
  • Take thoughtful risks to challenge the status quo and advance innovation in IC processes and methodologies
  • Drive business alignment to the Incentive Compensation Design service catalog definitions, processes, enhancements and strategies
  • Drive transformation, standardization, optimization, and automation to improve IC service efficiency, quality, and speed
  • Collect, provide, and analyze IC data and insights to support service delivery optimization and enhance operational effectiveness
  • Support the usage of Commercial Ops service delivery tools and platforms
  • Improve quality, consistency (One Pfizer), and compliance across BUs and markets
  • Ensure service delivery meets agreed upon quality plans in collaboration with the GOSC, Quality Oversight, and Global Compensation to address compliance requirements, minimum standards, and service guidelines and procedures
  • Define priorities to drive efficient and effective stakeholder engagements in ANZ
  • Participate in above-market projects
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business landscape and execution strategies in supported markets to determine key priorities and their impact on Incentive Compensation services
  • Proactively engage with CMO Business Partner and Business Leads to ensure alignment to business strategy and enable highly effective customer engagements by Customer Facing Colleagues
  • Shape, support, and implement Incentive Compensation Design capabilities as part of the CMO roadmap and International Markets IC & CFCD CoE strategic roadmap
  • Influence stakeholder decision making by driving Simplification, Optimization, and Standardization in IC plans

Requirements

  • BA Required
  • MBA or equivalent Master’s-level education preferred
  • 7+ years of commercial experience, preferably in Incentive Compensation work
  • Fluency in English required
  • Cross-BU and/or diversity of job experiences
  • Proven track record of successfully supporting business performance
