The Senior Manager, HR Training is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-wide HR training programs across the U.S. Reporting to the SVP, Learning & Development with a dotted line to the SVP, Human Resources, this role partners closely with HR leadership to identify capability gaps, monitor regulatory trends, and proactively build training initiatives that strengthen HR effectiveness, compliance, and leadership capability. As a key individual contributor within a lean Learning & Development team, this role balances strategic planning with hands-on curriculum development and facilitation.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and execute a comprehensive HR training strategy aligned with organizational goals and compliance requirements
Identify trends, skill gaps, and emerging risks within the HR function and design proactive training solutions
Design and deliver training programs for HR professionals, including employment law and compliance (EEO, wage & hour, harassment prevention), workplace investigations and documentation best practices, HR operations, HR related systems, and HRBP capability development
Create and deliver training programs for manager-level and above team members on HR-related topics, including wage & hour compliance, having difficult conversations, and corrective action and performance management processes
Partner with SVP, Employment Counsel, Compliance, and HR Leadership to ensure training reflects current federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, including California employment law considerations
Develop scalable learning solutions, toolkits, and resources to support both corporate and location-level HR teams
Facilitate live and virtual training sessions across the U.S.
Utilize Workday and the Litmos Learning Management System (LMS) to manage, track, and report on training participation and effectiveness
Measure training impact and continuously refine programming based on data and feedback
Support global HR training initiatives as needed
Travel up to 25% to support location-level HR teams and deliver in-person training
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends Global policies and applicable laws
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
HR certification preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of combined experience in Human Resources and HR-focused training
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training for HR professionals and manager-level employees
Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment law
California employment law knowledge highly preferred
Experience building structured training programs from the ground up
Litmos LMS / Workday experience highly preferred
Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
