The Manager – HR Operations will be responsible for handling complete employee lifecycle management from onboarding to separation for White Collar employees and Third-Party Blue Collar workmen. The role will also manage contract labour operations and ensure all statutory compliances related to contract labour are properly followed as per company policy and legal requirements. The position requires strong coordination with internal departments, contractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth HR operations.
Job Responsibility:
Handle end-to-end onboarding process including documentation, joining formalities, and induction
Maintain employee personal files and HR records properly
Manage employee confirmation, transfer, promotion, and exit formalities
Handle full and final settlement process
Issue letters such as Appointment Letter, Confirmation Letter, Relieving Letter, Experience Letter, etc
Ensure proper exit interview process and documentation
Coordinate with contractors for deployment of manpower
Maintain attendance and manpower records of contract workmen
Monitor contractor compliance related to wages, PF, Bonus, etc
Ensure timely submission of contractor compliance documents
Conduct regular audits of contractor statutory documents
Ensure compliance under Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
Maintain records and registers as per statutory requirements
Coordinate for Labour License, renewal, and amendments
Support during labour inspections and audits
Ensure all contractor workers have valid ID cards, safety training, and statutory coverage
Maintain HRMIS data and employee database accurately
Support payroll inputs related to attendance, leave, and separation
Coordinate with other departments for smooth HR processes
Handle employee queries related to HR operations
Support HR audits and internal compliance reviews
Requirements:
MBA / MSW in Human Resources or equivalent qualification
8–15 years of experience in HR Operations
Experience in Manufacturing / Shipyard / Heavy Engineering industry preferred
Strong experience in Contract Labour Management and Labour Law Compliance
Good knowledge of Indian Labour Laws
Strong documentation and record management skills
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to handle large manpower operations
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
Good knowledge of MS Office and HR systems
Nice to have:
Experience in Manufacturing / Shipyard / Heavy Engineering industry preferred
