As Baxter elevates global mobility as a strategic priority, this role offers the rare opportunity to shape how talent moves across a global organization. The Senior Manager, Global Mobility serves as the company’s mobility lead — owning strategy, advising HR and business leaders, and driving programs that directly support Baxter’s transformation. You’ll have the autonomy to modernize policies, streamline processes, and influence how mobility supports business growth, rotational programs, and international assignments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own and coordinate all domestic and global mobility programs (e.g., international transfers, short‑term assignments, commuters)
  • build and maintain program metrics, dashboards, and trend analyses
  • prepare comprehensive compensation proposals and run mobility‑linked processes
  • lead U.S. immigration compliance partnering with HR, managers, employees, and outside legal counsel
  • oversee case strategy and documentation for common visa categories (e.g., H‑1B, L‑1A/L‑1B, TN, F‑1/OPT)
  • stay informed on U.S. immigration developments and trends
  • lead and mentor junior Global Mobility team members
  • own operational processes
  • serve as the main point of contact to HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders
  • lead vendor relationships

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Global Mobility within a corporate HR environment
  • at least 1-2 years focused on U.S. immigration compliance
  • ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
  • strong collaborator and vendor management

  • clear, concise communication for technical topics (immigration, tax)
  • experience with HRIS/Workday and Microsoft 365
