Senior Manager – Home Broadband Engineering is about leading end-to-end digital delivery and shaping the future of home broadband experiences. Job Responsibility

  • Lead the full delivery of Vodafone UK’s broadband digital channels, ensuring high-quality outcomes regardless of platform or channel
  • Shape and drive the technical roadmap — setting goals, defining project timelines, allocating resources, and ensuring everything lands on time, within budget, and to an exceptional standard
  • Bring engineering and business teams together, creating seamless communication and alignment around shared outcomes and evolving customer needs
  • Build and nurture high-performing engineering teams, coaching leaders, mentoring talent, and fostering a culture rooted in collaboration, growth, and modern engineering practices
  • Blend Business Agility and DevSecOps ways of working with Vodafone’s operating model, championing innovation and technical excellence
  • Guide technical design across our Buy journeys, ensuring solutions align with strategic intent and deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Act as the technical subject-matter expert for product owners, analysts, architects, commercial teams, and other critical stakeholders

Requirements

  • Deep, end-to-end knowledge of engineering technologies such as React, Java, Node.js, microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native architectures
  • Proven experience leading engineering teams and shaping high-performance cultures
  • Confident in Agile delivery, with hands-on experience in Scrum and/or Kanban
  • Communicate with clarity and impact, adapting style to audience
  • Successfully led teams and projects across multiple locations and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
