Job Description:

The Senior Manager, GTS Marketing role involves leading marketing strategies and campaigns for HSBC’s Global Trade Services (GTS) products and solutions within a collaborative, global, and matrixed organization. This position focuses on product adoption, enhancing client relationships, and leveraging agro-digital capabilities to align with commercial growth objectives and sustainability goals. Responsibilities include executing go-to-market strategies, developing targeted content, and supporting transaction banking initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the global marketing strategy for Global Trade Solutions, aligning with commercial growth objectives
  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns for GTS products and services and collaborate on transaction banking wider initiatives
  • Translate Trade capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions tailored to client needs and industry trends
  • Collaborate with Trade, Coverage, and Client Strategy teams to support product innovation and commercialization efforts
  • Develop insight-led content (whitepapers, product briefs, case studies, digital assets) to highlight the bank’s strengths in GTS
  • Run targeted campaigns to drive product adoption and pipeline growth
  • Collaborate with global communications and brand teams to enhance visibility around key themes such as international trade, tariffs and digital transformation
  • Act as a liaison between marketing, GTS and other transaction banking teams (GPS, SSV, FX), as well as client coverage teams
  • Foster a performance-driven culture through transparency, insight, and continuous improvement
  • Promote Agile Principles and drive an Agile way of working within your team
  • Create an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand

Requirements:

  • Extensive years of experience in B2B financial services marketing with a focus on product marketing and/or Trade/Transactional Banking, within a global banking environment
  • Strong understanding of trade products and services
  • Proven success in executing go-to-market strategies that enhance product and client engagement
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience in matrixed, global organizations
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across business and marketing functions
  • Strong analytical, communication, and storytelling skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA or Master’s in Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred
