The Senior Manager will drive cross-company coordination with alliance partners, translating global alliance strategy into clear, actionable execution plans and ensuring consistent, aligned messaging across alliance partners and key stakeholders. These stakeholders include colleagues in Global Marketing, Health Economics, Operational Pricing, Regulatory, Clinical Development, Operations, and Government Affairs and Advocacy. In addition, the role will work closely with the US Contracts & Pricing team to support Amgen’s leadership in the US market. The Senior Manager will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, including analysis of payer and competitor trends to identify access and pricing opportunities, vendor selection and management, and development of high-quality deliverables and final documentation. The role will also support internal forecasting, price governance, and key decision-making processes, and may represent the ASL in cross-functional and alliance forums for assigned programs.
Job Responsibility:
Drive day-to-day coordination across the TSLP portfolio with alliance partners, ensuring alignment on access, pricing, and execution priorities, and clear documentation of decisions and outcomes
Support development of access and pricing strategies for pipeline assets and future indications by assessing evidence needs, defining end points for Clinical Development Plan, incorporating payer insights and policy changes and leveraging US market expertise
Co-create pricing strategy with the Access Strategy Lead (ASL) and alliance partners
partner with Operational Pricing to update and review pricing policy and support price governance and business case submissions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and alliance partners to develop forecasts and LRS, ensuring robust documentation and incorporation of global price and access assumptions, with a focus on US market dynamics
Support co-creation and development of key access deliverables, including Integrated Access Strategies, pricing guidance materials, negotiation frameworks, and AMCP and Global Value Dossiers
In partnership with the ASL, conduct situation analyses and payer/pricing research on the external access environment and competitive landscape, synthesizing insights into clear strategic recommendations for Product Teams
Lead payer research execution by managing external vendors, following up on the MAC Review process and ensuring delivery of high-quality insights that inform access, pricing, and franchise decision-making
Maintain joint alliance sites and the TSLP Franchise calendar, coordinating updates and refinements with alliance partners and cross-functional teams
Requirements:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of payer, market access and/or analytics experience
Master’s degree and 4 years of payer, market access and/or analytics experience
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of payer, market access and/or analytics experience
Associate’s Degree and 10 years of payer, market access and/or analytics experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of payer, market access and/or analytics experience
Nice to have:
Strong understanding of payer environment in US market including coverage and reimbursement, pricing, value drivers, economic decision makers, formulary management and health policy
Excellent communication skills, including interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and succeed in a highly matrixed environment

Ability to conduct situation analysis of external pricing and reimbursement environment and synthesize relevant information to develop strategic plans
Strong understanding about how to interpret and review clinical and health economic evidence, including disease state information, clinical trials pharmacoeconomic studies

Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative pricing studies and to formulate price policy recommendations
Understanding of drug development and commercialization process
Direct payer experience and/or experience in product commercialization pharmaceutical pricing experience in US
Formal degree in Health Economics
