Job Description

The Senior Manager, Global Ethics and Compliance is responsible for implementing and managing the organization’s enterprise compliance program with a strong focus on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) systems—including NAVEX and comparable platforms. This role drives both proactive and responsive compliance initiatives, ensuring that policies, training, reporting mechanisms, investigations, and risk assessments are executed efficiently and aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational values. You will partner closely with HR, Internal Audit, IT, Regional Leaders and others in Legal to build and sustain a strong culture of ethics, transparency, and accountability.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee enterprise compliance initiatives including policy management, Code of Conduct updates, training deployment, and annual compliance objectives
  • Manage Compliance intranet site, Code of Conduct website and GRC team SharePoint
  • Manage requests made under the Gifts and Entertainment policy
  • Conduct third party compliance screens
  • Maintain a robust internal control and governance environment aligned with relevant regulatory and company standards
  • Lead periodic enterprise-wide compliance risk assessments
  • Develop and track mitigation plans in collaboration with business leaders
  • Monitor compliance metrics, analyzing trends to support proactive interventions, and corrective actions
  • Serve as subject matter expert in key areas including: workplace conduct and non‑retaliation, conflicts of interest, third-party due diligence and sanctions screening
  • Monitor regulatory developments and provide actionable guidance to the business
  • Serve as administrator and strategic owner of NAVEX (EthicsPoint, PolicyTech, Disclosure Management) or similar GRC platforms
  • Manage or coordinate investigations of compliance concerns, ensuring timely resolution, documentation, and remediation
  • Develop, manage and conduct investigations toolkit for case managers and conduct relevant training
  • Conduct investigations as needed
  • Produce dashboards and reports for senior leadership, compliance committees, and audit stakeholders
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and communicate trends, risks, and performance across GRC system

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in compliance, legal, risk management, or related roles
  • Hands‑on expertise with NAVEX platforms or comparable GRC systems (e.g., Convercent, MetricStream, OneTrust, Archer)
  • Experience conducting and overseeing corporate investigations
  • Strong understanding of compliance regulations and risk methodologies
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and project management skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Troy, MI
  • Must be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future

The annual country compliance plan must take into consideration the applicable compliance risk assessments and MCAs appropriate to the jurisdiction and its activities.
  • State of Compliance Reporting: Preparing quarterly, in accordance with the approved global format, and in adherence to all established requirements for the State of Compliance reporting. The State of Compliance report will be presented to the appropriate CCC, BRCC and legal entity Board or Board Audit Committee, or other such Board committee required within the jurisdiction.
  • Enhancing Governance: Providing a valued interactive program of support and compliance risk management services covering the assessment and reporting of Key Compliance Risks across products, services, functions, legal entities, service centers and the jurisdiction as a whole. Job Responsibility
  • Oversee the company’s compliance with Ghana VASP regulations, including understanding and interpreting relevant laws, rules and guidelines
  • Prepare and present reports on compliance risk management activities for senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Ensure compliance with all local AML/CFT and KYC laws
  • Design, implement and maintain Ghana AML/CFT policies and procedures
  • Provide AML/CFT compliance advice to management and the Board of Directors
  • Participate in the development of new products and services to assess AML/CFT implications
  • Work closely with the global compliance function in areas including onboarding, PEP and Sanctions screening, as well as transaction monitoring and SAR filing
  • Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential AML/CFT risks, including evaluating customer profiles, transaction patterns and the types of services offered
  • Overseeing systems for monitoring transactions for suspicious activities
  • Ensuring staff members are trained and aware of their AML/CFT obligations, including regular updates on new regulations and AML/CFT trends
