The Senior Manager, Global Commercial Operations Analytics is a senior individual contributor role within the Global Commercial Operations & Execution function, with a key role in shaping commercial performance management, insights and decision support across the Alfasigma global portfolio, covering both Prescription Medicines and Consumer Healthcare products. The role combines hands-on analytical ownership for non-strategic products with a strategic coordination and synthesis role for global strategic brands, in close partnership with Global Franchise Analytics teams. The position supports Commercial Operations teams end-to-end, ensuring aligned metrics, sound governance and actionable insights across different commercial models.
Job Responsibility:
Act as primary analytical owner for the non-strategic portfolio (Prescription, Specialty and Consumer Healthcare), with hands-on responsibility for: commercial performance analysis and insight generation
development of analytical tools, dashboards and performance frameworks
deep-dive analyses to support optimization and decision-making
For Global Strategic Brands, operate as a senior Commercial Operations partner and integration point, working with Global Franchise Analytics teams to align KPIs, harmonize regional and country inputs, and translate global analytics into actionable insights
Provide end-to-end analytical support to Regional and Country Commercial Operations teams across the entire portfolio, ensuring coherence between global strategy and local execution
Analyze and interpret market, sales and execution performance, integrating market, execution and financial data to provide an end-to-end, business-oriented view of performance
Contribute hands-on, together with SFE and IT, to the design and evolution of execution monitoring and performance reporting
Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions at Global, Regional and Country level
Support the development of business cases and portfolio optimization initiatives, including lifecycle management and resource allocation analyses
Evaluate trade-offs between commercial investment, execution effectiveness and financial returns, providing data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders
Act as a trusted analytical partner and right hand to Commercial Operations leadership, supporting performance reviews, executive-level materials for the CCO Leadership Team, and ensuring strong data governance and consistent interpretation of results
Lead the development and continuous improvement of analytical tools and dashboards for non-strategic products, maintaining direct hands-on involvement where required
Partner with IT, Sales Excellence and Global Franchise Analytics teams to drive automation, standardization and scalability of analytics and reporting
Use and promote modern analytics and visualization tools (e.g. advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau or equivalent BI platforms) to generate robust, actionable insights
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in Commercial Analytics, Commercial Operations, Sales Force Effectiveness, Performance Management or related roles, preferably in pharmaceutical and/or consumer healthcare environments
Experience in Global or Regional HQ roles within complex, multi-country organizations
Strong background in sales and performance analytics, including hands-on experience with industry-standard market and patient-level databases (e.g. IQVIA)
Proven exposure to senior leadership decision support and executive-level communication
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to move from data to insight to recommendation
Solid business acumen and understanding of commercial performance drivers
Ability to operate effectively in matrixed, multi-stakeholder environments, influencing without formal authority
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar)
Strong communication and storytelling skills, with confidence interacting with senior stakeholders
Proactive, structured and comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced global context
