Are you a strategic finance leader who thrives at the intersection of operational excellence and financial precision? Airbus Helicopters North America is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to serve as a pivotal Finance Business Partner. This is a high-impact leadership role where you won't just report on the P&L—you will drive it. From overseeing five-year operating plans to guiding multi-million dollar program decisions, you will be the financial compass for our business line owners, ensuring that our mission to provide the world’s most advanced helicopter solutions remains financially robust and strategically sound.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as a Financial Business Partner
  • Develop robust and transparent working relationships with heads of business, program managers and key operational stakeholders
  • Translate financial information into usable and relevant operational information to drive performance
  • Ensure transparency and understanding of financial drivers and their impact on the revenue, margin and cash performance
  • Provide and communicate quantitative & qualitative data to the business leaders to support decision making
  • Become a critical member of the program organizations offering expert advice and support
  • Increase business management validation and Risks & Ops focus with Quantification
  • Control cost for OPEX, CAPEX, Depreciation, etc.
  • Prepare all necessary data required to explain the financial performance of the business
  • Complete, analyze and publish key business and financial indicators
  • Proactively highlight possible areas of performance deterioration and plan deviation
  • Identify, quantify and compile all risks and opportunities against the agreed plan
  • Lead and prepare the annual AHNA Operation Plan (OP) (5 year operating plan) along with periodic forecasts
  • Prepare the AHNA OP using program planning (S&OP), workload assumptions and executed contract commitments
  • Steer and drumbeat the AHNA OP contributors through the convergence process
  • Collaborate closely with the Offers & pricing organisation to ensure new contracts are understood and captured
  • Establish and develop Estimate at Completion (EACs)
  • Prepare and communicate regular and standardized financial reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Monitor, analyze and report monthly actual unit cost versus plan
  • Provide regular periodic reporting and updates on contract and product performance
  • Support the AHNA and Finance transformation plans through the identification of process improvements
  • Adopt and impart a cost conscious and continuous improvement mindset
  • Ensure adherence to the correct financial and cost accounting policies and procedures
  • Offer direction and advice to the business to guarantee transactions are in line with AHNA internal & external accounting standards
  • Work closely with the costing and offers department to understand compilation of bids & proposals

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, project management or business administration
  • Ten + (10) years of experience in a finance position
  • 10+ years of professional level work experience required
  • At least two (2) years of the professional level work experience must have been in a managerial level position with budget, planning, cash management, costing and/or Profit/Loss related tasks
  • Microsoft/Google Office suite—specifically Excel and PowerPoint or the Google equivalents
  • SAP
  • Authorized to Work in the US

Nice to have:

  • Five (5) years of experience in operational planning, budgeting / forecasting, performance management, risk & opportunity management and/or business controlling
  • Two (2) years of experience of business partnering, preferably as a finance business partner
  • Two (2) years of experience with the coordination, consolidation and integration of financial data between a customer center and a company headquarters
  • Knowledge of the common Airbus financial tools preferred
  • Knowledge of the Airbus Helicopter’s business preferred
