Senior Manager, FP&A - Omnichannel

Job Responsibility

  • Provide Finance Director and channel heads commercial performance and analysis in a practical and timely manner
  • Analyze DTC performance to provide actionable insights on sub-channel (CS/FO, Inline/platform
  • up to store level) to support discussions on profitability improvements
  • In charge of regular channel reporting and analysis including BOH review, retail PEX reporting, CAPEX tracking, and other reports related to channels
  • Collaborate with SEA eCom on performance tracking and analysis of profitability
  • Understand B2B performance through sell-in vs sell-out analysis, PVM mix, etc. to identify R&O and impact on margins
  • Standard margin analysis with close collaboration with FP&A Manager – Brand (on GIM)
  • Partner with Commercial team to ensure efficiency in trade terms
  • Support assessment on commercial effectiveness of SWB investments and customer mix
  • Develop visually engaging tools and enhance reporting capabilities on commercial KPIs for performance tracking and decision support
  • Liaise with Finance Manager - Brand on IBP and inventory
  • Plans and controls the channels’ operating overheads
  • Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis per business needs
  • Responsible for regular FP&A channel reporting (e.g. assumption tracker, OOH breakdown, etc) ensuring accuracy and submission in a timely manner
  • Perform analysis on forecast and actuals to provide insights on FP&A reporting deliverables
  • Shared responsibility for preparation of standard Finance slides
  • Support in developing tier 1 & 2 reports / dashboards for ongoing performance tracking and decision making
  • PMO support key projects and initiatives (e.g. CFIN)

Requirements

  • University degree or above
  • Member of an internationally recognized professional accounting body preferred
  • At least 10 years of broad-based finance experience with progressive responsibility in industry leading companies (Retail/FMCG)
  • Strong commercial and business acumen with prior omnichannel experience
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills with capability to leverage data to unlock insights
  • Great written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders across Global, Regional, countries and cross functions
  • Has high attention to detail and accuracy while working with strict reporting deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills, good time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize different requests
  • Solid and sound knowledge of accounting and financial principles
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Nice to have

Prior experience with SAP, PowerBI and MicroStrategy is a plus
