We are seeking a strategic and analytically strong finance leader based in India to support the U.S. Oncology business. This role will serve as a key business partner to U.S.-based finance, brand, and cross-functional leaders, providing insight into brand performance, forecasting, planning, and decision support. The Senior Manager will translate complex market, revenue, and expense dynamics into clear recommendations that enable sound business decisions and strong financial execution in a global, matrixed environment.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with Oncology brand, sales, and business leaders to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making
Partner closely with U.S.-based Oncology Finance, brand, and cross-functional leaders to support planning, forecasting, financial analysis, and decision-making
Operate effectively in a global team structure, including regular collaboration across India and U.S. time zones
Develop a deep understanding of the oncology market, competitive landscape, pricing and reimbursement dynamics, and key revenue and cost drivers
Lead or support monthly close activities, including financial review, variance analysis, and issue identification and resolution
Own or support sales and expense forecasting, annual operating plan development, and long-range planning activities
Identify opportunities to streamline forecasting, reporting, and planning processes through automation, standardization, and continuous improvement
Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance tools, reporting, and workflows
Build and maintain complex business and financial models to evaluate scenarios, risks, opportunities, and investment decisions
Analyze actual results against forecast, explain variances clearly, and communicate implications to senior management and business partners
Prepare and deliver clear, concise written and verbal presentations with actionable recommendations
Collaborate across global and cross-functional teams
Provide leadership and financial support on multiple initiatives and ad hoc projects
Requirements:
Doctorate degree and 4+ years of progressive finance experience
Master's degree and 8+ years of progressive finance experience
Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of progressive finance experience
MBA and/or CA preferred
Financial Planning & Analysis experience, including revenue forecasting
Biotech and/or pharmaceutical industry experience with exposure to sales and marketing finance
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Hyperion experience preferred
Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts and the ability to think critically and challenge assumptions
Executive presence with the ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
Experience working in a global matrixed environment, including support of U.S.-based stakeholders and cross-time-zone collaboration
Self-starter who can work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment
