Job Description

We’re hiring a Senior Manager, Event Programs to own Ocrolus’ industry events and owned field marketing programs, from large national conferences to curated executive dinners, roadshows, workshops, and regional activations. This role goes beyond logistics: you’ll orchestrate full-funnel programs across marketing and revenue, leverage AI and automation to eliminate busywork and influence across revenue, product and executive teams to create pipeline, accelerate deals, and strengthen customer relationships through world-class events.

Job Responsibility

  • End-to-end event ownership
  • Build the annual event and field marketing strategy and budget aligned to revenue goals
  • Define event objectives, KPIs, and attribution models
  • Maintain an evolving go/no-go decision framework for net-new shows
  • Design high-intent event experiences
  • Own contracts, sponsor deliverables, booth logistics, venues, vendors, swag, and on-site execution
  • Partner with Sales, Account Management, and Customer Marketing
  • Guide agencies and vendors
  • Build and optimize repeatable event and field marketing playbooks
  • Proactively source call-for-speakers and paid/earned thought-leadership opportunities
  • Partner with executives, product marketing, and internal SMEs to develop compelling narratives
  • Support partner-led events and co-branded activations
  • Partner with RevOps and Growth to convert attendee lists into action with AI-assisted workflows
  • Operationalize pre-event meeting booking and post-event acceleration
  • Use AI and data to recommend target accounts, invite lists, and follow-up prioritization
  • Collaborate with content, design, growth, and product marketing to deliver cohesive pre- and post-event campaigns
  • Own event-related messaging and asset creation
  • Publish 48-hour executive summaries and 7/14/30-day pipeline updates
  • Lead post-event retrospectives and optimization

Requirements

  • 3 -10 years in B2B event marketing, demand gen, or ABM
  • 3+ years owning major industry conferences
  • Proven record of tying events to pipeline and revenue
  • Experience with a modern martech stack: CRMs (e.g., Salesforce and/or HubSpot), marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot), routing & enrichment (e.g., ZoomInfo/Clay), ABM platforms (e.g., 6sense), project management tools (e.g., Asana), sales intelligence tools (e.g., Gong) and OpenAI
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI tools (ChatGPT/Claude/Copilot)
  • Familiarity with automation (Zapier/Workato/Make/n9n)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Budget ownership experience

Nice to have

  • Are T-shaped: deep in event operations and production, broad across demand gen, lifecycle marketing, content, and RevOps
  • Have a strong bias for action and can influence without authority across SDRs, AEs, AMs, Product, and Executive teams
  • Are data-centric and comfortable working with large datasets (attendee lists, account coverage, pipeline analysis) to drive decisions
  • Have an AI-first mentality and treat AI as your co-pilot so humans focus on judgment while automation handles scale
  • A/B test relentlessly and operate with a progress-over-perfection mindset
  • Enjoy going deep in a vertical and designing events that reflect how buyers actually buy
