Job Description:

The Senior Manager within Entertainments & Leisure will be accountable for the smooth planning and operational delivery of our entertainment and leisure proposition across our family breaks, big weekender breaks and resort-based events at our Bognor Regis Resort.

Job Responsibility:

  • Accountable for the smooth planning and operational delivery of our entertainment and leisure proposition across our family breaks, big weekender breaks and resort-based events
  • Leading through all activity for the entertainment teams which covers Redcoats, performers, and our technical support teams
  • Managing the product delivery for activities, events, large scale production shows, Intellectual Property (IP) content, varied visiting artistes and seasonal product
  • Overseeing all of our swimming pool, fairground and indoor soft-play proposition
  • Lead the team to deliver a memorable experience to our guests, focusing on fantastic guest experience, high service standards and delivery of budget
  • Setting and rolling our strategy for the Entertainment & Leisure team
  • Getting stuck in to support the teams operationally where needed
  • Ensuring health and safety operation and compliance to all relevant legislation
  • Creating an environment that allows your team to perform at their best and deliver an amazing experience
  • Constantly being on the lookout for opportunities

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in a similar role within an Entertainment or Leisure Environment
  • Excellent experience in event management
  • Experience in working with and building relationships with external industry experts and suppliers
  • Working knowledge of health and safety procedures, processes, relevant regulations and legislation is desirable
  • Strong experience of being guest and customer facing
  • Experience dealing with a range of queries and sometimes complaints directly
  • Analytical mind with the ability to forecast and manage costs
  • Ability to set strategic direction for your team whilst also being happy to be involved in the day-to-day operations
  • Excellent communication skills and be confident engaging with teams at all levels
  • Curious mindset and not be afraid to challenge the status quo
