EarnIn is seeking an accomplished Senior Engineering Manager to lead and scale the teams responsible for building the platform capabilities that power multiple products across our ecosystem. You will drive the technical vision, execution excellence, and organizational leadership needed to deliver a world-class financial platform that supports EarnIn’s mission: to build a financial system that works for everyday people.
Job Responsibility:
Lead Platform Vision & Execution
Own and evolve the platform roadmap
Partner closely with senior leadership
Collaborate deeply with product, data, and engineering leaders
Champion platform adoption
Provide senior-level architectural guidance
Set engineering excellence standards
Hire, grow, and retain exceptional engineers and engineering managers
Foster a culture of ownership, psychological safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement
Mentor leaders and engineers
Ensure the platform meets the highest standards of stability, scalability, and observability
Drive rigorous planning, prioritization, and execution
Represent the platform organization in cross-functional planning, company-wide engineering initiatives, and executive-level discussions
Help shape engineering culture and processes at EarnIn as we scale
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in software engineering
5+ years managing engineering teams
Bachelor's degree or higher, or relevant industry experience
Proven success in building and scaling platform capabilities teams
Deep technical background
Experience building large-scale distributed systems, APIs, services, and frameworks
