Job Responsibility
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and contractors
Partner with technical stakeholders to align on priorities, architecture, and delivery
Support execution across multiple application teams and initiatives
Help remove blockers, guide decision-making, and keep work moving forward
Foster a strong team culture built on accountability, curiosity, and initiative
Participate in interviewing, hiring, and team development efforts
Requirements
Prior people management experience in a software/technology environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate others
Technical fluency to contribute to discussions around architecture, collaboration, and delivery
Ability to assess tradeoffs, resolve conflicts, and make sound judgment calls
Someone who takes initiative, follows through, and can be trusted to execute
Nice to have
Experience with customer-facing technology products
Background leading teams working on internal or proprietary applications
Experience in a healthcare, insurance, or similarly regulated environment
