This position will report to the Marketing Measurement Tracking team lead within the GCSM AIM team. This team is responsible for performance tracking and marketing analytics across the GCS Marketing organization. This individual should have a strong interest in transforming data into insights that drive strategic business decisions. This role will provide significant opportunities to work closely with variety of partners (Marketing, Finance, Strategy, IO, Product, Risk, Platform etc.) to analyze customer behavior, evaluate marketing campaign performance. Your insights will empower senior leaders to make data-informed choices, improve ROI, and deliver outstanding results for our customers.
Job Responsibility:
Lead accurate and timely reporting of sales and business performance, enabling transparency and informed decision-making for leadership teams
Spearhead campaign analysis to uncover trends, actionable insights, and performance indicators that influence product and marketing strategies and drive growth, retention, and customer satisfaction
Building Data Capabilities and Data Products for effective marketing measurement tracking
Lead all aspects of automation and continuous improvement in analytical processes to improve efficiency and scalability
Collaborate with functional leaders, business partners and senior leaders to assess business needs, evaluate project feasibility, ensure data integrity, and provide actionable recommendations in times of constant change
Manage a team of 5-6 analysts
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience including direct people management
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science)
Proficiency in SQL and Python with a strong analytical skill to manipulate data and generate actionable insights
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
Strong communication and storytelling skills—able to influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects across teams and geographies with minimal supervision
Nice to have:
Exposure to Big Data platforms and familiarity with commercial products will be a plus
Extensive knowledge of American Express data and systems will be a plus
