Job Description:

Senior Manager role in the Corporate Tax Team, working with a diverse portfolio of local clients from owner-managed and multi-generational family businesses to PE-backed and AIM-listed companies. The team provides a balanced mix of compliance and advisory services, covering areas such as M&A structuring and due diligence, exit planning and succession, group reorganisations, and international expansion and structuring.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing client
  • Oversee the successful delivery of complex tax advisory, compliance, and reporting engagements
  • Provide high-quality client service and maintain accountability for project quality
  • Collaborate across specialist tax teams to provide holistic solutions
  • Drive internal and external networking and business development
  • Lead and contribute to team initiatives and strategic priorities
  • Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members

Requirements:

  • A professional qualification such as ACA/CA/ACCA/CTA
  • Completion of HMRC’s full Tax Inspector Training Programme
  • A relevant law qualification
  • Degree qualified
  • Strong technical expertise in corporate tax, including experience of tax accounting/tax audit
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret both existing and emerging tax legislation
  • Strong project management skills, including budget management and deadline delivery

Nice to have:

  • A seasoned experienced corporate tax professional, with expertise gained in practice and/ or an in-house environment
  • Experience of strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
