The Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy is a key member of The Estée Lauder Companies’ Corporate Strategy team, supporting the development of enterprise strategy and execution of high-priority strategic initiatives across Brands, Regions, and Functions. Working closely with leaders across the organization, the Senior Manager will conduct analyses, develop insights, and support strategic recommendations that inform critical business decisions. The role contributes to the annual corporate strategy process, evaluates growth opportunities, assesses market and competitive dynamics, and supports enterprise strategic initiatives. This highly visible position provides broad exposure to ELC's business and leadership team and offers a unique opportunity to develop deep expertise in prestige beauty, enterprise strategy, and value creation. Success in the role requires strong analytical capabilities, intellectual curiosity, structured problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights. The Sr Manager will be responsible for supporting Corporate Strategy development; Brand, Region, and Functions Strategy and Plan annual process; and support Brands, Regions and Functions in strategic initiatives as needed.
Job Responsibility
Driving analytics, incl. evaluating complex large sets of data (market data, trends, financials, etc.), managing their own workstream end-to-end, and delivering and supporting presentations
Understanding, developing and communicating insights, and drive strategic perspectives on new opportunities
Assessing ELC's business context across consumers, competitors, categories, channels, and geographies to support development of the Corporate Strategy and long-term growth agenda
Continuously monitor and synthesize external industry developments (consumer and cultural trends, competitor moves, category innovation, channel disruption, macro and regulatory shifts), with ability to translate signals into clear implications for ELC’s strategy, risks, and growth opportunities
Collaborating on key strategic initiatives supporting Brands, Regions and Functions as needed
Supporting senior leaders in evaluating growth opportunities and strategic priorities through analysis, insight generation, and recommendation development
Requirements
4–7 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic planning, business analysis, or a related field
Strategy consulting experience strongly preferred
Experience within beauty, consumer products, luxury, retail, or other consumer-facing industries is a plus
Passion for the beauty industry, with a strong interest in understanding evolving consumer needs, cultural trends, competitive dynamics, and changing pathways to discovery and purchase across the beauty ecosystem
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to evaluate large and complex datasets and synthesize findings into actionable insights
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to structure ambiguous business questions
Ability to identify patterns, connect disparate information, and translate insights into strategic implications and recommendations
Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
Experience working effectively across functions and managing multiple stakeholders
High degree of intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and comfort operating in dynamic environments
