Job Responsibility:

  • Integrate and deliver effective real estate transactions, project leadership and portfolio management for Baxter’s global office real estate portfolio in EMEA, APAC and the Americas
  • Support and accomplish Baxter’s global real estate strategies
  • Provide value-focused leadership for continual improvement to, and effective implementation of, real estate projects, processes, policies and procedures
  • Manage critical dates, transactions, and projects
  • Collaborate and integrate with real estate collaborators, team members, and providers to optimise Baxter’s global real estate
  • Provide global transactional real estate expertise and sound financial management
  • Deliver short- and long-term efficiency gains, cost savings, and guidelines for continuous improvement, transformation, and optimization of Baxter’s real properties
  • Promote, manage and lead strategy, governance, process/policies/procedures, standards, and operational excellence for worldwide real estate activities
  • Serve as the transactional real estate expert for offices Globally
  • Identify, develop and lead collaborator relationships and project teams
  • Proactively collaborate with Baxter’s business groups and functions
  • Evaluate provider performance
  • Identify, manage and lead real property transactional strategies and solutions
  • Provide oversight and collaborative support for the real estate capital and expense plan of global real estate projects
  • Identify and accomplish portfolio optimisation initiatives
  • Work with the Global Real Estate Group at Baxter to formulate strategic solutions
  • Apply, and act as a source of, guidelines, process, tools, techniques and continuous improvement for real estate transactions
  • Refine and ensure policy compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Real Estate, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field is required
  • 7 to 10 years of global industrial or commercial real estate experience in a corporate environment
  • Global Life Science experience preferred
  • EMEA experience required
  • Previous experience in the development, leadership and execution of global real estate
  • Effective financial competence and real property asset management and optimisation skills required
  • Strong ability to partner across business groups and internal Baxter team members while building effective networks of external providers and resources
  • Prior management of enterprise-wide global projects and strong negotiating skills are critical
  • Real Estate License or related professional designation required
