Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales manager to lead a team responsible for acquiring new contracts selling fiber internet services to single-family homes and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) developments. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive team performance to achieve sales targets. This person must have strong business development, conflict, and funnel management skills. The role requires interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills and the ability to assess seller performance and coach performance levels. The successful candidate will achieve desired sales goals using virtual and cross-functional support from internal and external resources.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of account executives
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance sales skills and product knowledge
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and support
  • Create and implement sales plans to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas

  • Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to align sales strategies with business objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required)
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the telecommunications, real estate, or utilities sector
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proven record of acquiring new business and driving sales growth
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools
  • Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory and regularly attend in-person meetings with clients and prospects

Nice to have

  • Experience working with property managers, HOAs, or developers in MDU and/or SFH communities is a plus
  • Knowledge of cable, TV, Internet, and/or Voice products and services
  • Residential Property management or real estate development
