Job Description

The Senior Manager, Clinical Collaboration plays a critical role in strengthening and scaling collaboration between Thyme Care’s Care Team and our Oncology Practice Partners, as well as driving overall contract success. This role is focused on ensuring our clinical partnerships are patient focused, effective, flexible, and aligned to each practice’s unique needs, while driving high satisfaction and long-term engagement across our network. This role sits at the intersection of clinical care, operations, and partnership strategy. The Senior Manager, Clinical Collaboration directly impacts how effectively Thyme Care integrates into oncology practices, ultimately improving care coordination, provider experience, contract success, and patient outcomes across the cancer journey. Collaboration with oncology practices can look different depending on practice size, structure, and preferences. Some practices rely heavily on Thyme Care support, while others prefer a lighter-touch partnership. This role will help design, operationalize, and continuously improve collaboration models that meet practices where they are—while maximizing value for patients and partners. This is a client-facing role that works closely with internal cross-functional teams and external clinical leadership at partner practices.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve workflows and collaboration models between Thyme Care’s Care Team and oncology practice care teams
  • Tailor collaboration approaches based on practice preferences, size, and level of desired engagement
  • Beta test and rollout new products and features that support clinical collaboration
  • Partner closely with Care Delivery to design and refine operational workflows
  • Work with Product to identify, define, and support development of tools that enhance communication and coordination with practices
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics to track interactions, define KPIs, and monitor success metrics
  • Work alongside Commercial Directors to gather practice feedback, support solution design, and help position collaboration strategies with practices
  • Serve as a key clinical collaboration partner for oncology practices, engaging directly with practice clinical leadership
  • Drive regular touchpoints, feedback loops, and problem-solving conversations in partnership with Commercial Directors
  • Identify opportunities to deepen collaboration, improve satisfaction, and proactively address challenges
  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities across the practice network to improve collaboration at scale
  • Translate practice feedback and operational insights into actionable recommendations for internal teams
  • Support pilot programs and new collaboration initiatives, helping scale successful models across the network
  • Own creation, alignment, and communication of initiative strategy and goals
  • Provide regular updates against goals and surface key wins and challenges to leadership
  • Scope and advocate for resources and budget, when necessary, to achieve goals

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare, working with providers, clinical operations, or value-based care models
  • Experience partnering with provider organizations (oncology, specialty care, or private practice preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive operational programs from design to execution
  • Strong understanding of provider workflows and clinical practice operations
  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders without direct authority
  • Data-driven approach to measuring performance and improving outcomes
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Nice to have

  • Clinical background with transition into operations, strategy, or program leadership
  • Experience in oncology, palliative care, or specialty care models
  • Background in value-based care, care coordination, or provider enablement
  • Experience in digital health, health tech, or startup environments
