Job Description

Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development, to support hyperscale customer engagement and advance contracted data center projects across Rowan’s growing portfolio of large-scale campuses. This role works closely with other Customer Leads, as well as Solutions Engineering and Development teams, to progress customer relationships from early engagement through term sheets, Cost Reimbursement Agreements (CRAs), and executed lease agreements.

Job Responsibility

  • Support hyperscale customer pursuits in partnership with other Business Development team members
  • Assist in structuring, negotiating, and advancing term sheets, cost reimbursement agreements (CRAs), and long-term lease agreements for large-scale data center projects
  • Help translate customer capacity, schedule, and technical requirements into clear, executable commercial terms
  • Participate in and lead customer meetings, workshops, and site tours, representing Rowan with clarity and professionalism
  • Coordinate internally with Solutions Engineering, Energy, Development, Legal, Construction, and Operations to ensure commercial commitments align with execution realities
  • Support preparation of deal materials, internal approvals, and investment committee presentations for complex hyperscale transactions
  • Maintain disciplined follow-through to ensure customer engagements progress toward contracted relationships and executable projects, not open-ended discussions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (engineering, business, construction management, real estate, or similar)
  • 5+ years of experience supporting or leading commercial development for infrastructure, real estate, or large-scale technical projects
  • Highly customer-centric mindset, with a demonstrated ability to earn trust, understand customer objectives, and translate those priorities into executable commercial outcomes
  • Proven experience driving customer development and deal development, including progressing opportunities through term sheets, CRAs, and long-term lease agreements
  • Exposure to and experience with hyperscale and/or large-scale enterprise data center customers strongly preferred
  • Experience with long-term leasing, build-to-suit development, or complex commercial agreements
  • Comfortable operating in technically informed, customer-facing environments, coordinating across multiple internal workstreams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage both technical teams and senior customer stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple active pursuits simultaneously
