It’s an exciting time for external partnerships within the Mainstreet Product & Experiences (MSPX) organization, as we’re actively expanding the ways in which we grow our business. In addition to driving new sign-ups via traditional paid channels, the partnerships team aligns with third-parties across finance domains like credit bureaus, fintechs & affiliates. As a Sr Manager of Business Development heading External Partnerships, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing the network of partners. You’ll think strategically about how to mutually grow, identify key opportunities for optimizations, and collaborate cross-functionally with business analysts and product teams. This role will empower you to create and develop best practices surrounding Partnership onboarding and management. We’re looking for a Sr Manager who is passionate and energized by the opportunity for creative problem solving in order to meet our ambitious goals.
Job Responsibility
Lead & manage your partnership portfolio like a business through a growing team of junior associates
Understand the products and services offered by each partner, and create specific initiatives to support Capital One’s financial health products & experiences including CreditWise
Uncover opportunities to improve commercial relationships
Organize, schedule and conduct regular calls with each partner, and in-person business and product reviews
Work with financial teams on forecast and revenue projections for partnerships
Develop deep understanding for marketplace products and the personal finance landscape as a whole
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience
At least 6 years of Business Development, Partnerships, or Relationship Management experience
At least 5 years experience in a customer-facing role in an organizational or entrepreneurial setting
Nice to have
Master’s Degree/MBA
1+ years experience with personal finance products or credit bureaus or financial health industry
