The Senior Manager, Benefits Systems Administration will work with the Aramark Benefits team which means touching the lives of all our employees from stadiums to hospitals, schools, and more! This role will work in our fast-paced, vibrant environment to lead the optimization and delivery of our U.S. benefits technology ecosystem, supporting a workforce of over 140,000 US employees within a 250,000-employee global organization. This role is critical to advancing a digital-first benefits experience, owning the platforms, integrations, and data that power benefits administration, employee engagement, and decision support. You will partner closely with Benefits, HR Technology, Payroll, and external vendors to deliver a scalable, secure, and consumer-grade technology experience. This position is a hybrid role based out of Philadelphia. Job Responsibility
Be the lead owner of the end-to-end benefits systems ecosystem across the U.S. (e.g., HRIS, enrollment platforms, decision support tools)
Have oversight of the Benefits Administration system, including the process of converting acquired employees into the Aramark benefits systems
Lead configuration, administration, and continuous improvement of benefits platforms (e.g., interface files, payroll adjustments, ad hoc system needs)
Drive release management, testing, and system upgrades
Oversee integrations and serve as the primary liaison between benefits systems, payroll, vendors, and HR platforms
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (AI, personalization, decision support tools) to gain efficiencies and enable a seamless and user-friendly employee experience
Manage relationships with key vendors, brokers, and platform providers (e.g., Businessolver, Mercer, Aon, TPAs, point solution vendors, etc.)
Oversee vendor performance, SLAs, and issue resolution
Support RFPs, implementations, and renewals
Ensure systems meet all regulatory and data privacy requirements (ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, where applicable)
Influence global platform decisions where scale and efficiency can be achieved
Lead a team of benefits systems analysts, administrators, and/or external partners
Drive a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in HR systems, human resources, finance, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
12+ years of experience in HR systems, benefits technology, or HRIS administration
Deep expertise in benefits platforms and integrations
In-depth experience leading system implementations, upgrades, and transformations
Strong understanding of U.S. benefits processes and regulations
Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional initiatives
Extensive familiarity working with vendors and external partners
Excellent HR systems reporting skills (SAP experience preferred)
Extensive experience in data analysis (with advanced Excel proficiency), modeling, and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative information
Demonstrated track record in driving complex projects, managing multiple priorities, and operating effectively in fast-paced, changing, and sometimes ambiguous environments
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics and influence stakeholders
High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
Highly self-directed, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
