Job Description

The Senior Manager, Advanced Data and Analytics plays a critical leadership role in developing and maintaining marketing analytics models, overseeing team performance, and driving actionable insights for our clients. This role reports directly to the Associate Director, Advanced Data and Analytics and is responsible for overseeing department operations, strategic modeling direction, and team leadership within the Advanced Data and Analytics group.

Job Responsibility

  • Mentor and develop Supervisors and analysts, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
  • Oversee the development, training, and implementation of statistical models to optimize media performance and drive client business results
  • Lead quality control of modeling outputs, automation processes, and data integrity standards
  • Oversee dashboard development in visualization tools such as Tableau and Datorama
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for clients and internal teams
  • Partner closely with clients, account teams, and media teams to assess business challenges and deliver data-driven solutions
  • Lead execution and oversight of marketing mix modeling, diminishing returns analysis, incrementality testing, and campaign measurement strategy
  • Manage team workload allocation, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and advancement within analytics frameworks and reporting capabilities
  • Act as a senior escalation point for analytics strategy and modeling decisions
  • Support executive leadership with departmental performance insights and strategic recommendations
  • Partner with business development and executive leadership to support client pitches, contributing strategic analytics insights, measurement frameworks, and data-driven narratives to win new business

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data and analytics within an agency or media consulting environment
  • 2+ years of team leadership experience, including managing managers or senior-level contributors
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • advanced degree in Statistics, Economics, Predictive Analytics, or related field preferred
  • Advanced expertise in Python, R, and SQL database management
  • Strong experience with DTC and data-heavy clients
  • Proven ability to develop and oversee statistical modeling frameworks including marketing mix models, multi-touch attribution, and incrementality testing
  • Experience working with ad tech platforms including ad servers (DCM), DSPs (TTD, DV360), and SEM platforms
  • Strong business intelligence expertise (SQL, Tableau, Datorama)
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into strategic recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
