Job Description:

CVS Health aims to transform health and wellness via products that enable consumer engagement and a best-in-class experience. The company is currently taking on a major initiative to redesign and rebuild many of its Retail Front Store Assets. This effort will include a completely new approach to developing software within CVS Health, using the latest design approaches, technologies, and processes. The Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering will deliver high quality software to enhance customer experiences and drive vision, innovation and strategic plans.

Job Responsibility:

Leading and driving critical initiatives in Retail Front Store portfolio
Being an Agile evangelist with proven track record in delivering technology initiatives
Building trusted relationships with peer groups and business partners
Leading dynamic team of architects and developers working in Agile environment
Balancing priorities, risks and expenses to successfully manage, build, and operationalize portfolio of products and capabilities
Driving vision, innovation and strategic plans to advance CVS Health's enterprise solutions across Retail Front Store portfolios

Requirements:

7+ years of functional leadership experience in an information systems environment
3+ years in direct management and supervision of IT/Technical work groups including budgeting, strategic planning, technical direction, and staff coaching/mentoring
7+ years of relevant and current experience including APIs, Micro services, customization, integration, UI development and analytics
5+ years of experience with agile development
5+ years of experience with proven track record of leadership managing large or multiple teams comprising of FTEs and contractors
3+ years managing teams responsible for deploying cloud applications (GCP Preferred)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Nice to have:

Experience with optimization skills to improve performance, scalability, and usability of applications
Strong application development background as developer, architect, or manager
Experience and success in leading agile teams effectively, consistently delivering highest quality software to enhance customer experience
Working experience of CI/CD pipeline
Working understanding of enterprise security
Experience in a large online retailer application development organization
Retail Front Store experience
