Job Description:

The CVS Health Aetna Enterprise Delivery team is looking for an innovative thought partner who has a strong analytic and program management skill set to serve as a key leader on critical technical programs. This role will require an experienced leader who will direct the activities of the team including overseeing and coordinating Scrum events, ensuring that risks, issues and blockers are identified and addressed and act as point of escalation. Additionally, this role will provide mentoring and coaching to the individuals reporting to you.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and coordinate Scrum events
Ensure risks, issues and blockers are identified and addressed
Act as point of escalation
Provide mentoring and coaching to team members
Support planning, coordination and tactical execution of IT projects and programs
Develop presentations and content for key leadership forums
Train/coach/mentor team(s) on financial management and effective communication
Oversee development and tracking of timelines and milestones
Manage projects using Agile methodologies
Gather insights on process improvement opportunities
Coordinate day-to-day initiative progress
Forecast resources allocations
Maintain project budget

Requirements:

8+ years’ overall technology delivery management experience
5+ years’ experience in leading program management efforts within a large organization
2+ years’ leadership experience as a manager of people
Experience leading teams comprised of Business focused Scrum Master, Program Managers and Project Managers
Managed teams, performing HR responsibilities such as hiring and performance management
Strong communicator both verbal and written
Adept at using Scrum and Agile methodologies
Resource and budget ($8M+) management
Understanding of software development methodologies
Proficient in Microsoft project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Scrum Master Certification
Project Management Certification
Experience in Healthcare industry
Understanding of software development
Experience working on complex large-scale applications
