This is an office-based leadership role located in Pune and requires regular on-site presence to effectively support workplace operations, employee experience, operational readiness, and business continuity. Own the operational heartbeat of GlobalStep Pune — facilities, security, procurement, hospitality, and the workplace environment that enables a global gaming business to perform at its best

Job Responsibility

  • Pune Site Operations Ownership Own end-to-end administration and operational management for the Pune facility, covering facilities, transportation, inventory management, procurement coordination, hospitality, and workplace operations
  • Premium Workplace Environment Maintain a world-class workplace environment across all operational areas including cleanliness, maintenance, employee comfort, hospitality standards, infrastructure readiness, and overall workplace experience
  • Facilities and Infrastructure Operations Ensure smooth functioning of all facilities infrastructure including seating, utilities, maintenance coordination, housekeeping, cafeteria operations, meeting spaces, employee areas, and operational readiness across the Pune studio
  • Security Operations and Coordination Coordinate physical security operations for the Pune facility including access control, visitor management, CCTV coordination, restricted-area discipline, and adherence to security protocols required for protection of client intellectual property
  • Crisis and Escalation Management Act as a trusted operational leader during emergencies, disruptions, or sensitive situations
  • Procurement and Vendor Management Own local and global procurement activities including vendor identification, commercial negotiations, contract coordination, cost optimization, invoice validation, procurement governance, and compliance with organizational procurement standards
  • Inventory and Asset Coordination Maintain operational oversight of inventory movement, asset tracking, workplace equipment coordination, and operational inventory discipline across administration-managed categories
  • Transportation Operations Manage employee transportation operations, vendor coordination, escalation handling, routing oversight, safety considerations, and transport-related operational continuity
  • Hospitality and Executive Coordination Manage hospitality and operational logistics for visiting overseas clients, employees, leadership personnel, and business guests including hotel coordination, airport pickups, travel support, workplace readiness, and overall experience management

  • Vendor Ecosystem Management Build and maintain strong relationships with facility vendors, transportation providers, security agencies, hospitality partners, procurement vendors, contractors, landlords, and external service providers
  • SOPs and Operational Discipline Develop, standardize, and improve administration operating procedures, governance processes, vendor management frameworks, escalation mechanisms, and operational controls
  • 24×7 Operational Ownership Operate with a high-ownership mindset in a 24×7 services environment with the ability to respond effectively during operational escalations, critical incidents, or urgent business situations

Requirements

  • Graduate or postgraduate qualification with 12 to 18 years of relevant administration, site operations, facilities, corporate services, or operational leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ownership of large-scale corporate facilities or operational environments with high employee density
  • Strong experience managing administration, facilities, procurement, transportation, hospitality, and vendor ecosystems together under a unified operational mandate
  • Proven ability to independently manage operational escalations and difficult situations with maturity and judgment
  • Strong commercial and negotiation capability with vendor management and procurement exposure
  • Experience working in fast-paced service environments requiring responsiveness, adaptability, and operational discipline
  • Executive communication maturity and comfort interacting directly with senior leadership and external stakeholders
  • Strong operational ownership mindset with ability to manage ambiguity and execute independently
  • Ability to balance authority, professionalism, employee sensitivity, and operational accountability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
