Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, coordinating inputs across all departments
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support multi‑year planning and scenario analysis
  • Regularly update rolling forecasts to reflect business performance, risks and opportunities
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist in year-end audit and physical inventory counts
  • Analyse stock ageing and obsolescence trends
  • Support the Financial Controller in preparing board‑level reports and KPI packs

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar senior finance role, preferably within retail or FMCG environment
  • Relevant accounting qualification such as ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP)
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities

Nice to have:

  • Experience within retail or FMCG environment
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
