Job Description:

Senior Maintenance position at Dallas/Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center. Respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure property maintenance meets company standards and codes.

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies
Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts
Perform complex repairs of physical property, electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment
Troubleshoot and repair all types of equipment including plumbing, electrical, HVAC
Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
Perform advanced troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems
Train and mentor other engineers
Perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities including readings and rounds

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
Must meet applicable state and federal certification and/or licensing requirements
Valid Driver's License
