Requirements

Twelve years experience in the operation, repair, and maintenance of naval or marine hull and damage control equipment
Six years experience in a position of supervisory responsibility over a subordinate work force involved in the physical maintenance and repair of hull and damage control equipment systems
Five years experience with shipboard hull and damage control equipment
One year experience as a technical instructor
Ability to obtain a Newport News Shipyard access badge

Job Responsibility

Assess, troubleshoot, and repair various shipboard damage control machinery, equipment and systems
Support the USS John C. Stennis CVN-74 during a Refueling Complex Overhaul
Become an integral part of CEMAT-ACCCIT
Work as part of a small cross-functional team
Assist other members of the team in the performance of their work including standing fire watch or safety watch when not working in primary specialty
