The Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineer is a vital link between day-to-day facility operations and long-term reliability engineering. Working closely with the Facilities Management team (composed of Chief Engineer, Hard Services Manager, and Planner/Scheduler) and partnering with client Reliability Engineering and Operations team, you will drive operational improvements in corrective and preventive maintenance. This role is responsible for managing the reliability activities queue, ensuring that maintenance strategies are executed efficiently while championing continuous improvement across the site.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate daily corrective and preventive maintenance workflows with Hard Services Manager and Chief Engineer
Provide technical expertise to field technicians for complex troubleshooting and parts identification
Ensure maintenance tasks meet quality standards and are properly documented in CMMS
Prioritize daily tasks based on asset criticality, failure risk, and operational impact
Manage reliability activities queue as liaison between daily maintenance and strategic initiatives
Track and report on reliability program effectiveness through Quickbase system
Utilize SAP/CMMS analytics to monitor KPIs, identify trends, and support root cause analysis
Implement RCM principles to enhance maintenance effectiveness and optimize processes
Support failure analysis, equipment commissioning, and repair-versus-replace evaluations
Review and develop vendor relationships for maintenance, reliability, and operations support
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical degree)
8+ years in industrial maintenance, facilities management, maintenance engineering or a related field
Proven experience in a multi-stakeholder, team-based maintenance environment
Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (SAP preferred)
Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related building infrastructure assets
Strong grasp of preventive and predictive maintenance principles
Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
Skilled in maintenance planning and scheduling processes
Ability to influence results without direct authority

Nice to have:
Professional certification (e.g., CMRP, CRL)
Experience with RCM, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies
Prior experience working within a third-party facilities management framework
