Job Description

As a Senior Mainframe Site Reliability Engineer, you will drive the reliability and evolution of re-hosted CICS/TX and MQ platforms by leading critical operations, defining technical standards, and coordinating modernization efforts across middleware, infrastructure, and stakeholders.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead all critical platform activities for the re-hosted CICS/TX and MQ service, including incidents, upgrades, new features and structural improvements
  • Own the evolution of the re-platformed middleware stack, including coordination with IBM, application groups and DR/cloud-readiness efforts
  • Set technical standards for availability, housekeeping, performance, RCA and operational excellence in this senior-heavy tower

Requirements

  • Extensive enterprise-level expertise in CICS/TX and MQ delivery, upgrades, and cluster management
  • Strong command of Linux-hosted middleware reliability, performance and change-window control
  • Excellent stakeholder management and technical lead capability in a critical legacy-modernization context
  • 6-8 years of experience in relevant roles
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
