As a Capital One Mainframe Security Engineer, you’ll work on a Mainframe identity platform to support Identity Access Management needs.
Job Responsibility:
Identify opportunities for automation, evaluate new tools, and drive implementation of technology that creates value for the organization
Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members
Provide regular updates to the management team on project progress
Support the rollout and onboarding of new applications
Responsible for engineering security for Capital One's RACF Security Database and CICS Security Sub-System database
Automate component & integration tests
Collaborating with tech leads to ensure integrated end-to-end design and delivery
Good knowledge of best practice data security
Be fearless and try out new open source technologies/frameworks to solve business problems
Be fungible in a full stack team and own all aspects of delivering business applications
Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing problem resolutions to related incidents
Operational support with change and incident management processes
Requirements:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 3 years of experience of CICS Transaction Security including sub-system security setup
At least 3 years of experience of IBM z/OS including knowledge of RACF, TSO, ISPF. SDSF, and JCL
At least 3 years of experience investigating and resolving user/system security issues.
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s Degree
4+ years of experience troubleshooting end user issues in Access Certifications
3+ years of experience with Cyber Security Domain specifically IAM Lifecycle Management
2+ years of experience FIS Systematics GN Transaction Security including a sound knowledge of EOR’s, SOR’s, and TAR’s
2+ years of experience Sailpoint IdentityIQ
1+ year of experience in SQL
1+ year of experience with Role Based Access Controls (RBAC)
1+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
