Join us as an Operator at the Valmet Tissue Technology Center, where you will work hands-on with the latest tissue-making technology in a dynamic, collaborative environment. You will be part of a strong, supportive team that operates one of the world’s most advanced pilot machines, helping customers test new technologies and develop future-ready products. Job Responsibility:

  • Operate the pilot machine both from the control room and on the machine, ensuring smooth and safe production runs
  • Participate in machine configuration changes, rebuilds, and clothing replacements to meet testing needs
  • Troubleshoot issues on the pilot line and collaborate with colleagues to secure high-quality test runs
  • Support both internal development projects and customer trials that explore new tissue technologies
  • Contribute to maintaining a well-functioning, flexible, and reliable pilot environment

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in tissue production and operating tissue-making machinery
  • Communicate confidently in both Swedish and English
  • Flexible, curious, and proactive mindset
  • Thrive in hands-on environments where collaboration and problem-solving are essential
  • Experience from test or pilot operations is a strong advantage
  • Strong understanding of tissue-making processes and the ability to operate and support complex machinery
  • Enjoy combining technical skills with teamwork
  • Comfortable adapting to changing setups, test conditions, and customer needs
  • Curiosity, reliability, and willingness to learn
