We are looking for a creative, innovative audio signal processing and machine learning Engineer, who has experience developing and maturing early concepts into demonstrable audio algorithms. At Eriksholm, we are expanding our capacity to generate working audio concepts that can make a real difference for people with hearing loss. We work closely with our scientists and Oticon R&D to quickly mature the most promising ideas into hearing solutions with impact.
Job Responsibility:
Innovate and develop state-of-the-art audiological algorithms designed for hearing aids, with a focus on improving speech intelligibility and quality for users
Train, inspect, and improve signal processing concepts and ML/AI models using state-of-the art Python frameworks
Apply an analytical mindset to break down complex problems and navigate potential solution opportunities
Requirements:
Degree in engineering
Background in audio signal processing and machine learning
Knowledge of auditory perception
Around 5+ years of experience in signal processing (e.g., noise reduction, beamforming)
Around 5+ years of experience in machine learning theory and practice
Experience navigating uncertainty and working with high-risk concepts
Experience communicating complex content clearly and concisely
Nice to have:
Knowledge or experience with low power processing
Knowledge or experience with acoustics, psychoacoustics, or auditory perception
